WomonsWork.com is a website for the members of the WomonsWork Art Group (WWAG).  It is designed to showcase the work of some of the artists and to share contact information with anyone wishing to reach our artists.  The WW Art group and this website support women in any of the arts, including graphics, sewing, collage, knitting, quilting, beading, painting, sculpture, photography – you name it!  If it’s creative, we do it!  Some of our artists are also writers, videographers, playwrights and musicians.  We celebrate all the ways in which women have found to express their creative souls, so all our artists are free to put any of their creative projects on their pages.  We hope you will enjoy the variety here.   WWAG supports women artists in the state of Connecticut.  Members meet in small groups at least once each month to work together and share their expertise with other group members.  This environment promotes the exchange of ideas and knowledge so that the opportunity always exists to improve skills or learn new ones.  The group is made up of women artists of various types and skill levels.  In one meeting, activities might include painting, drawing, jewelry-making, sewing, paper-making, framing or just about anything creative.  Most WWAG members have multiple interests, so every meeting is different.  “I always learn something at our WWAG meetings and am often inspired,” says one member.  “Someone is always doing something I never dreamed of and it’s absolutely awesome!” Any of the artists here would love to hear from you, so feel free to email them if you have any questions or comments about their work or about WWAG in general.  Check at the bottom of each artist’s page for their email address and feel free to contact any of us with your feedback.   In these pages, you’ll find all kinds of great stuff – books, videos, paintings, jewelry, memory books, fabric art and more.  This website continues to be a work in progress, so click around and see what’s here, and put us in your Favorites to guide you back again.  We hope you’ll check back with us every now and then to see who’s been added to the these pages!  Welcome to our site.   Have fun!  We are!
