Hold the Mayo!
a play in five acts

by Jessey Ina-Lee

While Karla's boss is having a heart attack and yelling for help, Karla goes to the bathroom instead of calling 9-1-1.  After her boss dies, someone also turns up dead in the life of Karla's best friend Denise, and these two long-time friends are brought even closer together as they confront a desperate situation that requires drastic action.  The friendship between Karla and Denise is the focus of this play which presents problems involving abuse, pornography and child molestation.
Although this piece deals with serious issues, it also features playful and sometimes humorous dialogue between the two characters.  This play is a poignant work that will evoke a wide variety of emotional responses and raise questions concerning important topics.

Sisters Alien
by Jessey Ina-Lee

One summer night, Katie-Jo woke up in the wee hours to find a small, silvery creature sitting on her bed.  Iris was a space alien who looked like the ones described in the awful tabloid abduction stories that Kate hated so much.  But Iris was unlike any alien she'd ever imagined, and Katie-Jo felt an immediate kinship with the strange little entity.  In this fascinating, humorous and poignant play, the space creature reveals to Katie-Jo the reason that she's so different from everybody else - everyone, that is, except a few other people who are also part of the aliens' plan to change human evolution.

But this is only the beginning of Iris's incredible revelations to Kate.  Iris shows her how the human species is in danger of extinction and how the planet earth could be destroyed.  It's Katie-Jo who must become the reluctant courier of Iris's message to the world.

This play will appeal to any woman who has a close girlfriend or sister and will excite the imagination of anyone who has ever watched the skies at night, wondering what lies beyond the stars.
